SoLux Med Spa works in collaboration with Dr. Ricardo Izquierdo, a skilled and experienced board-certified plastic surgeon, in administering all BOTOX® and dermal fillers. Dr. Iz is renowned for his light touch and talent for achieving the most natural-looking results.

BOTOX®
BOTOX® is a non-surgical treatment in which medicine is injected into muscles and used to improve temporarily the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows. It works by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles, reducing the muscle activity that causes lines to form. It is also used effectively on crow’s feet (lines found at the corner of the eyes) and brow lines on the forehead.

Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers reduce signs of aging caused by diminishing collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid – components of our skin that give it fullness. Fillers are commonly used on the face and hands, and can effectively plump lips, fill hollow cheeks, diminish the appearance of scars, elevate deep creases, erase fine lines, and lift the brow or a downturned mouth.

Critical to achieving desirable results is the proper placement – and the right combination of dermal fillers. At SoLux Med Spa in Chicago we provide a broad range of fillers to meet specific needs - Juvedérm®, Restylane®, Radiesse®, and Sculptra® - and all injections are skillfully administered by Dr. Izquierdo.
